40Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for quality control of EEG processes to meet regulatory and accreditation guidelines. The Neurodiagnostic Quality Improvement Coordinator facilitates Our Promise by ensuring an environment of safety, integrity, caring and innovation focused on improving the health of those needing Neurodiagnostic Services. This position will foster collaborative relationships between Department of EEG, MEG, Clinical Engineering, Information Technology and referring outside EEG facilities. Completes audits to ensure policies and standards are maintained. Establishes protocols and techniques for new equipment and collaborates with Education Coordinator in development of competencies and in-services for staff. Coordinates equipment service, problem resolution and recommends inventory replacement. Assists in the education and facilitation of outside EEG referrals.
Education & Experience:
High School degree or equivalent required.
A graduate of an accredited electro-neurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training is preferred.
2 to 5 years of experience as an EEG technologist is required.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Registration on EEG by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists is required.
Basic life support certification is required.
