Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a MUOS Network Integration Specialist to work from their State College facility. As a member of the MUOS program team, you'll be supporting the integration of multiple network devices, Operating System configuration and patching, and troubleshooting of network issues. Potential network devices include servers (Linux/Windows), firewalls, routers, switches, etc. In addition, scripting (Bash/PhP/Pyton) could be part of the role as well as cyber hardening, virtualization, and Java development.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

- Basic understanding of Linux/Windows severs
- Operating Systems and patching
- Application installations
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
- Documentation writing skills
What sets you apart (desired but if you don't have it, we'll teach you):
- Exposure to COTS network firewalls, switches, routers, etc
- Experience with Linux Scripting (Bash/PHP/Python)
- Experience with Java software development
- Exposure to Virtualization (Nutanix, VMWare, etc.)
- Integration test experience
