Full Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced WordPress/graphic designer to join our client’s team on a part-time (hours TBD — approx 20 hrs weekly) remote project supporting a client in the TechBio space.

This 4-6 week project will involve designing and developing the client’s first website using WordPress, as well as creating comprehensive brand guidelines for the team to use moving forward.

Responsibilities:

1. Website Design and Development:

  • Design and develop a visually appealing and user-friendly website using WordPress.
  • Create a customizable look and feel that effectively communicates the client’s brand identity and value proposition.
  • Integrate provided content into the website design.

2. Brand Guidelines Development:

  • Assist with refining the client’s logo and creating a cohesive brand identity.
  • Establish typography, hierarchy, and color palettes for use across various marketing assets.
  • Develop best practices for implementing the brand consistently across different platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in WordPress website design and development.
  • Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience creating brand guidelines and style guides.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful website design and brand identity projects.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.00-60.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
