Description:Lockheed Martin's Chelmsford Operations facility is a leading hub for innovation in microelectronics, supporting critical aerospace and defense programs. Located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, our team is dedicated to producing advanced technology solutions that safeguard national security and advance the industry.

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Microwave Assembler II to join our team. Responsibilities of this position will include the following:

* Perform fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of simple to mid-range complexity. Duties include installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.

* Perform disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on various production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology. Perform the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area. Plan work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements. Utilize measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, drop indicator, etc...) to check parameters during and after work to ensure that the unit conforms to specifications. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering on procedures or to troubleshoot product to specifications.

The shift for this position is Second shift. Typical hours for Second shift are 4pm to 2:30am Monday to Thursday.

Basic Qualifications:
* Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly
* Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar instruments
* Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination
* Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Requires the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting position
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment
* Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices
* Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments
* Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
