Our agency client is looking for a Media Supervisor to join their growing team! This is a direct-hire / full-time opportunity.
High-level details of the role:
- Client is flexible on location, although Chicago area and hybrid office environment is preferred

This is an amazing opportunity to lead a small team of experienced media specialists and analysts, inventing the future of paid media research, planning, buying and analytics. You will not only manage a team of 3, but also execute and manage campaigns.
Primary components of this role include:
- Media Research (<5%): independently develop audience segmentation, target definition, audience, brand, business and marketing channel insights, and competitive analysis
- Media Planning (25%): develop audience barriers and drivers to brand engagement, consumer decision journey, connection idea, channel scorecard development, media mix and partner recommendation; develop ROI forecasts and conversion models, and develop A/B tests
- Media buying (10%): activate B2B, B2C and non-profit paid media programs; build, manage and optimize campaigns in ad platforms
- Creative development (<5%): assist your clients with best practice recommendations for creative ad placements, write paid search ad copy, resize static images, and build slide show videos
- Ad operations (<5%): traffic creative and load creative to ad platforms; establish and confirm conversion tracking
- Media performance reporting (10%): assist the in-house Media Analyst with inputs to build reports and help write key findings on drivers of campaign success and recommend key actions
- Talent management (15%): manage and mentor 2 Media Specialists, and 1 Media Analyst. Lead team working sessions.
- Account management (20%): lead client meetings and presentations, keep senior management apprised of key client opportunities, identify potential risks, and solve client problems as needed.
- Project Management and Business Development (15%): effectively manage all media projects using Asana, support leadership in identifying new business opportunities
The ideal candidate:
- Deep knowledge of media platforms - Facebook/Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, Mediamath, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter / X
- Experience with analytic solutions such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Funnel.io
- 4+ years' experience in digital media, SEO, display and/or social marketing, ideally as a Media Supervisor
- 4+ years' using data and information to drive specific targeting and recommendations
- Experience mentoring/coaching colleagues on best practice
- Strong client management and project management skills
