The Role - In this role, you will:
Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of moderate to high complexity for the GPS Hardware product lines.
Ensure proper packaging of systems to obtain optimal thermal and structural design
Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture and analysis in area of domain expertise
Support root-cause-analysis and technical investigations for Navigation and Sensor Systems designs
Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of moderate to high complexity
Provide mechanical engineering design support to manufacturing staff and operators

Required Education, Experience, & SkillsMust have 2+ years of experience working in Mechanical Design
Proficient in a 3D CAD solid modeling software package (SolidWorks and/or UG NX preferred)
Familiar with both thermal and structural testing and analysis
Experience with FEA software package (ANSYS preferred)
Experience with military aerospace testing standards
Experience with plastics and potting materials
Familiar with 3D printing equipment and processes
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
