Position Summary
The Marketing Education Manager, Retail plays an important role in the organization by overseeing a number of activities related to the company’s Retail Marketing functions. The role is primarily responsible, under general to intermittent direction, to provide training, on-boarding, tactical marketing support, CRM, continual education, and technical marketing support. This position is also responsible for field adoption of marketing technologies, platforms, and vendor services.
Essential Functions
- Deliver general instruction, on-boarding, training, and ongoing coaching to team members with the objective of providing excellent marketing support, either in person or virtually on a continuous basis.
- Provide comprehensive support for new hires, accommodate future acquisitions, and support recruiting efforts to further company growth.
- Provide current and newly hired retail originators and their support staff with the tools and resources necessary for sales and marketing productivity.
- Plan and implement marketing and CRM/ productivity tools training content, materials, and training techniques to deliver customized marketing trainings to specific roles in the field.
- Deliver ongoing marketing and SF CRM trainings ranging from Basic to Advanced, including New Hire Training for Loan Officers, Managers, support staff and Recruits. These trainings could be in-person or virtual.
- Develop a feedback loop with the field and field marketing team to actively seek requirements and inputs for Sales and Marketing Productivity tools, like Salesforce, Dashboards and Reports, BombBomb, HomeBot, etc.
- Collaborate with stakeholders like Salesforce team, Sales Training, Field Marketing, content team, retention team, to provide feedback from the field about various initiatives.
- Find innovative ways to provide digestible training nuggets to the field about various tools and platforms.
- Provide ad hoc training for specific questions, topics, as required by the field.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and features roadmap for marketing and productivity tools throughout all stages of the roll-out and periodically troubleshoot as needed.
- Document and maintain knowledge articles and other documentation for support and business processes as executed in the marketing and sales productivity tools, including any impacts from other integrated Guild applications.
- Track, survey and report on onboarding and recurring training attendance and satisfaction.
- Work on special projects and assignments with the Senior Marketing Education Manager, Retail and the Director, Field Marketing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sales/Marketing, or related field required.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in marketing/communications-related role(s) required.
- A minimum of two years’ experience on the sales side of the mortgage industry required.
- Prior experience using CRM software.
- Passionate about delivering training in-person and virtually.
- General RESPA and mortgage compliance knowledge.
- Proficiency with HomeBot, BombBomb, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service within a team environment.
- Ability to effectively represent the company to outside parties.
- Effective writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Supervision
- General to intermittent supervision of work, depending on experience.
- Apply sound judgment in execution of core job responsibilities.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel: 5%; mostly to attend large scale trainings and company events.

Targeted Salary Range: $62,244.00 to $84,700.00 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
