Our financial services client has an immediate need for a Marketing Content Writer with personal finance industry insight and experience.
This contract-to-hire position starts as soon as we've identified the ideal candidate, and will continue (40 hours per week) with partial onsite in the client's Fort Worth office.
The Marketing Content Writer will collaborate with various internal departments to create and edit content for a wide variety of print and digital channels. The Marketing Content Writer should have financial industry experience, as well as a portfolio that showcases long- and short-form content.
Marketing Content Writer Responsibilities:
-Work with marketing and product teams, as well as specific subject matter experts to write and edit compelling content in support of various strategic initiatives
-Support company SEO objectives both strategically and tactically (keyword research and on-page SEO/writing)
-Provide writing and editing support for the company's Financial Advisors and their staff members (typically involving client emails and letters, advertising copy and support of local marketing initiatives).
-Collaborate with the social media team to plan the editorial calendar and develop posts as needed to support it.
- Identify relevant news and information that may lend itself to the development of more timely, ad-hoc posts.
-Write and edit copy for a wide variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to website content, digital and print marketing materials, advertising, social media and (scripts for) short videos.
-Write articles for the company's online blog.
-Collaborate with graphic designers and campaign managers to develop and create new marketing campaigns.
-Prepare and periodically update all Advisor Profiles (one-page bios) and executive bios.
-Write scripts for the company's Annual Advisor Conference awards presentations.
Marketing Content Writer Requirements:
-AP style writing
-5+ years of content writing experience
-Previous financial services experience is required
-Familiarity with the military and/or past military service is plus, but not required
