This position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
Pay:
Starting Pay: $33.51 per hour Pay Range: $29.64 - $37.37 per hour
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to develop multimedia content that will be used for external communications to members and the larger community. This includes video filming and editing, and graphic design work.
Accountabilities:
Videography
- Video production: Filming, writing and/or producing videos to support communication initiatives that inform, educate, and motivate customers.
- Video post-production: Editing and finalizing videos for publication in line with due dates for campaigns and initiatives being supported.
- Plan and execute onsite or remote video shoots as needed, ensuring appropriate communication with all stakeholders throughout.
- Oversee the usage, equipment, maintenance, and other needs of an onsite media room/studio used for video and audio production.
- Adhere to app appropriate graphic and brand standards.
Graphic & Visual Design
- Planning and creating graphic assets that support ESL marketing and communication efforts that include direct-to-customer materials, as well as campaign materials.
- Finalizing production of graphic assets in accordance with due dates for the campaigns and initiatives being supported.
- Capture photos that can be included in content either as standalone photos, or as stills in video production
- Capture photos at events where ESL is either hosting or a participant that can be included in external communications.
- Adhere to all appropriate graphic and brand standards.
Content Editorial & Planning
- Partner with Marketing and subject matter experts throughout the organization to plan and organize content that meets planned objectives and includes key messages.
- Manage and update the content editorial calendar that organizes due dates, stages of production, and review process.
- Manage an electronic asset library of videos, photos, and graphic assets for Marketing use.
- Work with vendor partners as needed for content development support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing communications, advertising, graphic design, video production and editing, or photography preferred, or 4 years of marketing communications, advertising or journalism experience required
- In addition, minimum of 4 years of experience with video production required
- Proficient in the Adobe Suite preferred (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to edit video efficiently using Final Cut, Avid, or similar software
- Working knowledge of sound, lighting, and other video support equipment
