Full Job Description
Summary:
This role will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep of the equipment and facilites. This role will oversee a team of maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements maintenance procedures
- Delegates inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Plan and oversees all repair and installation activities
- Oversees workload allocation to staff
- Oversees equipment inventory, placing orders as needed
- Participates in annual budget planning process. Routinely tracks expenses against budget
- Manages relationships with contractors and service providers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration or facility management. May consider relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- 6+ years of experience
- Proven experience in managing a team of maintenance staff and contractors
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques
