The Team

We are seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join American Tower’s Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team. The FP&A team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable analyses and recommendations driven by detailed analytics. As a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will build relationships with key stakeholders and establish yourself as a finance business partner to U.S. Tower leadership. More specifically, you will manage a team that provides robust support for our Operational capital expenditure and R&M strategies, while maintaining and enhancing the related spending control processes.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Responsible for the preparation of all budgets, forecasts and long term strategic plans    
  • Evaluates controls, identifies and controls gaps, and prepares and reviews narrative and templates as necessary.    
  • Prepares periodic in-depth financial reports evaluating and interpreting the company's financial performance to support the Company's financial objectives    
  • Prepare and deliver a comprehensive monthly financial presentation to executive audience for capital spending.    
  • Manages the financial planning and analysis activities providing oversight support, mentoring team members, and collaborating to develop objectives and goals.    
  • Provides leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.    
  • Partner with management groups to facilitate effective capital spending management and approval processes.    
  • Leads as the subject matter expert from finance on Capital approval related IT development projects and design of budgeting/forecast systems; manage business partner and stakeholder requirements.    
  • Other duties as assigned.    

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree/ MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive finance experience is required, such as reporting, planning, advanced analytics and complex predictive modeling
  • Proficiency with multi-dimensional reporting and business intelligence tools (e.g. Essbase/Adaptive Planning/Anaplan, Tableau/PowerBI/OAS) is required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
