If so, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician, who will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of warehouse and packaging equipment. Assist and drive optimization of the warehouse/manufacturing process to the standards of service and quality required.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Works independently to undertake planned maintenance, breakdown repair, and condition monitoring activities of warehouse/packaging equipment
  • Adhere to manufacturing policies, procedures, and programs to guide the facility in maintaining and improving its competitive position and meet customer expectations
  • Produce and update company maintenance systems
  • Ensure a neat, clean and orderly warehouse facility in compliance with our cGMP and ISO 2015:9001 standards
  • Respond to and maintain facility security systems
  • Maintain grounds of the warehouse property
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly while maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Program with focus on SMED practices
  • Order parts and supplies driving year over year company cost savings goals
  • Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve the productivity of the operation while reducing costs. Establish manufacturing cost management with focus on maximizing profitability
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Support branch metrics
  • Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values
  • Other tasks as required


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of prior maintenance experience with forklifts and rigid packaging equipment
  • Proven abilities in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
  • Familiar with schematics and electrical diagrams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrates safe work practices; is reliable; has a positive attitude; contributes to a team environment; takes initiative
  • is knowledgeable of warehouse processes & systems; uses experience & judgement for day-to-day problem solving & continuous improvement
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
