What you will experience in this position:
An outstanding opportunity to coordinate a world-class team, leading all aspects of flawless maintenance strategies while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. You will diligently supervise all maintenance activities, ensuring that our Hitchcock, TX facility remains at peak performance.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient performance of equipment and facilities.
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing mentorship, training, and support.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to support production and operational goals.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
Implement and lead a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
You have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, preferred.
Experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Electrical journeyman certification.
HVAC, CNC, and plumbing knowledge.
Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and standard methodologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Environmental Factors: Tasks are regularly performed with exposure to environmental conditions, such as but not limited to; dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, machine hazards.
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
Walking/Standing: Constantly for up to 12 hours
Lifting: Ability to lift from 0-20 lbs.
Pushing, Pulling, Twisting and Climbing: Often up to 3 hours
Stooping, Kneeling, crawling: Often up to 3 hours
