Position: LPN/RN
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN/LPN to join our family practice. As a nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.).
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the physician.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests.
- Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests.
- Complete Prior Authorizations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent..
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from a recognized certifying organization (e.g., AAMA, AMT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working in a family practice or similar healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical software and technology.
