WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Global Learning & Development (L&D) GLP Co-Op will collaborate with our team to gather requirements, specify, design, develop, and deliver solutions that enable our Specialty and Expert L&D partners and Global L&D stakeholders to support learning and development effectively and efficiently. You will work in an array of systems and leverage various tools, particularly PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, ChatGPT and Tableau.

Projects from the team’s areas of focus and aligned to the student’s learning goals, skills and interest will comprise much of the role. Projects may include the following: enhancing and launching a custom ChatGPT for use by internal teams. Supporting updates and socialization of a comprehensive SharePoint site to a global audience of L&D partners. Working with senior L&D managers during internal client meetings, documenting and driving problem resolution, scheduling, hosting, and analysing feedback results from learning offers to assess the learner experience.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Being curious and passionate about how Learning & Development supports individuals and businesses.
  • Working both independently and under direct supervision, with both on-site and remote/virtual colleagues at varying levels in the organization
  • Staying organized and keeping track of multiple priorities and tasks
  • Working with stakeholders to identify needs and gather requirements to develop effective tools, comms, and/or processes.
  • Being confident enough to share your own ideas
  • Demonstrating the ability to collaborate
  • Problem solving and creative thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle
  • MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel
  • Speaking and writing in English, in PowerPoint, email and in live and virtual meetings
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze both abstract and concrete information and data
  • Getting things done, even when the path forward is ambiguous
  • Class or work experience in education, learning & development, communications, project management preferred
  • Prior work, internship or co-op experience in a progressive corporate environment a plus
  • Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
  • BCG is currently allowing hybrid work situations (3 days in office minimum) in the U.S. however should this change, applicants must be able to be physically present full-time in the BCG Boston office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) within a reasonable timeframe.
