Lead Knowledge Analyst - Defense and Security Contracting
Full Job Description
You will support commercialization efforts for the sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, providing insights & advice for proposals and client workshops. Additionally, as a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will lead development of intellectual property & assets for the business and mentor and guide junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.
Your work within our Defense & Security topic will primarily focus on supporting our engagement with U.S. Federal Government clients, providing expertise and insights on defense and security-related topics such as Acquisition/Procurement, Sustainment/Readiness, Organizational Transformation, Space, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Innovation and Cybersecurity.
- Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in defense & security-related topics
- Codifying knowledge and maintaining assets and tools for defense & security based on different client contexts
- Communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
- Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
- Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
- 5+ years of experience in relevant sector required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
- In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry or government experience required; 6-10+ years of industry or government experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of U.S. Federal Government acquisition/procurement and contracting processes required; prior military or civilian service in U.S. Department of Defense acquisition or contracting positions strongly preferred
- Familiarity with and skill in using DACIS and related contract systems strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
- Fluency in English
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
- US citizenship required and ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. federal government security clearance
