As a Manager of Labor Relations here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing aspects of human resources for ourPort Manatee, FL location.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
* Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
* Promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
* Provide guidance to management on employee relations matters.
* Continuously improve LER processes.
* Identify and mitigate employee relations risks.
* Support change initiatives in a fair and equitable manner.
* Drive time-sensitive and impactful employee relations strategies.
* Communicate emerging LER practices, legislation, and their implications for the business.
* Manage employee relations programs and training.
* Leveraging Voice of the Employee data to drive engagement and support employee work experiences
* Partner with businesses to deploy effective labor and employment relations activities.
* Coordinate with legal and labor departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
YOU MUST HAVE:
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Labor and employee relations experience
WE VALUE:
* Bachelor's degreeor higher
* Human resources experience
* Process orientation, including project management skills and ability to use data
* Strong communicator with ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
* Experience with employee relations in a Union and non-union environment
* Able to collaborate effectively and lead teams across organizations
