A&B Mechanical Contractors, Inc has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Plumber with commercial experience! We are seeking an individual who has residential experience as well, but this position will be focused primarily on commercial and has potential for a leadership role. Join our diversified services company offering commercial and residential Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical services.

Qualifications:

Team player who is highly motivated with a positive attitude
Confident and responsible working independently as well as in a group setting
Proficiency with plumbing installations as it pertains to common residential, commercial, and/or industrial practices.
Knowledge of State and local Plumbing Codes with the ability to make on-the-job applications.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing drawings.
Ability to layout underground sanitary and storm piping.
Ability to fully understand and implement all job safety requirements.
Physical demands include the ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more.
Good attendance, punctuality, accountability, and performance.
HVAC experience helpful.
Supervisory experience preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or Equal

Requirements:

(4) years actively working in the plumbing trade
Journeyman license required
Valid Michigan Driver's License
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
