Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an IT Specialist (CustSPT/INFOSEC), you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
- Advises customers on and executes standardized processes and tools for effective operations, troubleshooting, and updating of computer, printer, mobile/wireless equipment, and tracking.
- Responds to and resolves problems with software, hardware, and systems management.
- Performs activities that gather information for the purpose of mitigating or remediating possible or real-time threats or vulnerabilities, protect against internal or external IT security threats or activities.
- Researches options for problem resolutions and recommends new IT security tools and/or options to senior specialists and/or supervisor for disseminating policy or security guidance to customers, for the purpose of enhancing the IT security stance of the agency.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORUndergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
