Job Summary
Aquent is seeking a motivated and hands-on Sr Endpoint Engineer with a proven track record of leading teams and managing diverse endpoint environments. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of endpoint management technologies with experience overseeing both Mac and Windows endpoints. This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading individual contributors and a strong technical background in systems administration and engineering.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor:Provide guidance and support to the endpoint engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Endpoint strategy:Develop and implement a comprehensive endpoint management strategy, ensuring the security, stability, and efficiency of Aquent's endpoint fleet
• Hands-on management:Maintain expert-level proficiency in Jamf and Kaseya, actively participating in the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of endpoint management solutions
• Cross-platform expertise:Oversee the management of both Mac and Windows endpoints, ensuring seamless integration and consistent user experiences
• Automation and scripting:Leverage scripting and automation tools to streamline endpoint management tasks and improve operational efficiency
• MDM Solutions:Design, implement, and maintain solutions related to our MDM solution to effectively manage and secure mobile devices within the organization.
• Security focus:Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect endpoints from vulnerabilities and threats
• Collaboration:Work closely with IT support teams, service desk, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of Aquent's endpoint environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or a related technical discipline is preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading individual contributors in an endpoint engineering or systems administration role
• Hands-on experience with Jamf and Kaseya, demonstrating expertise in managing both Mac and Windows endpoints
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other relevant languages
• Deep understanding of endpoint security best practices and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
• Proven track record of problem-solving and troubleshooting complex endpoint issues
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest endpoint management trends and technologies
