Job Summary
FordDirect is looking to hire an Intern for our Summer 2025 Internship Program. This position will provide exposure to FordDirect’s B2B eCommerce platform, The Shop. The intern will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of The Shop, focusing on dealer support, vendor engagement, and marketing/public relations initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands on experience in B2B e-commerce marketplace operations while contributing directly to the success of the platform.
This will be a full-time, paid position within a remote (home-based) environment with some on-site workdays in Dearborn, MI
Duration: June 9th through August 13th, 2025
Essential Functions
- Support the day-to-day operations of The Shop, focusing on dealer support, vendor engagement, and marketing/public relations initiatives.
- Assist with resolving issues including troubleshooting technical issues, product inquiries, tracking and documentation to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Research potential vendors to assess their fit for The Shop, coordinate communication with vendors including scheduling meetings/follow-ups, prepare presentations, onboarding materials, and reach out to dealer references.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials: Draft social media content or digital marketing campaigns promoting The Shop and vendors, contribute to PR efforts such as outbound contact to dealers to ensure awareness of The Shop, solicit feedback, extend appreciation, and contact dealers for vendor/product reviews.
- Compile and analyze data from dealer and vendor interactions to identify trends and insights, prepare reports and presentations for teams on dealer satisfaction, vendor vetting progress or marketing campaign performance.

Education
Junior or senior student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or another relevant discipline
