The Innovation Advisor applies design thinking principles and human-centered design methods to coach multi-disciplinary teams in transforming the way that healthcare is delivered to children at CHOP, including how new digital technologies are used to increase efficiency and effectiveness, how teams are structured to deliver high-value care, and how workflows are organized to promote safety, quality, and excellent experiences for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
The Innovation Advisor has the expertise and experience to facilitate innovation projects using design thinking skills, to guide teams in the development and implementation of innovative solutions, to manage innovation projects from ideation to implementation, and to collaborate with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, patients, families, and community partners to gather insights and co-create solutions.
