Full Charge Bookkeeping/Payroll position at a privately owned outpatient mental health practice. Job requires weekly trips to the Coronado location, therefore candidate must be local to San Diego although majority of work can be done remotely.
Responsibilities include:
Processing payroll and managing PTO for approximately 12 staff with differing rates and contracts (hourly, salary, true-up, contractors)
Maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balancing subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintaining general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries. Balancing general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Maintaining historical records by filing documents.
Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Can work from home part of the time but office located in Coronado.
Must know how to use QuickBooks.
Salary will be from $25-$28/hr and is commensurate with abilities/experience.
