Join our team as a Facilities Technician to support our Anoka HOFFMAN Operations on 2nd Shift.
In this position, you will get to:
Perform a variety of duties including light construction, general carpentry, drywall work, painting and other various facility maintenance tasks. The Facilities Tech will also work directly with Contractors, Inspectors, or other maintenance personnel to complete a variety of projects around the facility.
Some job responsibilities include:
- Light Carpentry
- Concrete Repair
- Painting (interior/exterior)
- Supporting remodel projects
- Plumbing
- Support maintenance team as needed with breakdowns and/or projects
You have:
- 2+ years’ experience in Facilities Maintenance
- Knowledge and personal or professional experience of the following preferred:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- HVAC - Light commercial
- compressed air systems - Light commercial
- Experience in commercial or manufacturing required
- Computer skills to navigate websites, email, and other office programs
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
- A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred.
- Ability to obtain a special boilers license and 608 reclaim certification within 9 months

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
