Your role in our mission - Able to create highly complex design documents and translate them into component-level designs to accelerate development. Develops strategy, design and data gathering approaches.
- Leads development team efforts to provide flexible reusable components to increase cost effectiveness. Analyzes, designs and reviews design of applications and suites of applications to ensure that customer specifications are satisfied.
- Oversees relationships between Account and the client. Coordinates activities of product development teams and account developers. Recommends and implements courses of action as appropriate to meet project needs.
- Reviews and analyzes gathered information in technical research; evaluates work products, tools and methodologies to ensure that designs adhere to project requirements and meet client needs. Develops and provides technical documentation, participates and adheres to current industry, client and company standards. Develops and provides technical documentation, participates and oversees test-plan development, integration and deployment activities across the team.
- Supports business process work sessions, project meetings and account applications development sessions to ensure that VA PRSS product and account specific design decisions are communicated to operations leadership.
- Functions as a domain expert and works closely with software developers to develop estimates for change requests from the client. Develop the application design, and coordinate activities between the technical team and the account team needed to create solutions and estimates and implement approved change orders.
- Utilizes experience in development methodologies, coding documentation, testing methodology and industry standards to define and develop project requirements, functional specifications and detailed design of application solutions for clients.

What we're looking for - Eight (8) or more years of relevant technical experienced, especially in large-scale enterprise Web applications.
- Healthcare experience of Medicaid system design and support experience.
- Experience working with software design, software development life cycle (SDLC), and development methodologies and implementation.
- Experience working with implementing product releases including integration, web services and portal.
- Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software including but not limited to: .NET, C#, C/Unix, SQL, Oracle.
- Experience working with company application development policies, procedures, software and hardware products.
- Experience creating estimates and change order documentation.
- Agile and waterfall knowledge.

The pay range for this position is $88,800.00 - $126,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
