SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the Andersen Events and Experience team in the planning and execution of events, tradeshows, and customer visits/trainings. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless execution and exceptional attendee experiences. You will provide logistics and Cvent support for larger Tier 1 events and be responsible for the end-to-end planning of small, assigned events.
Requires a customer first mindset with strong communication, written and organization skills.
Areas of focus will include support of Tier 1 events and full planning for Tier 2 events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage assigned Tier 2 events through their lifecycle, including, but not limited to: project management, experience design and execution, budget management, registration, and all other logistics within virtual, hybrid or in-person events for small meetings
- Project manage the registration website build and design process using Cvent
- Provide support for Event Planners II/III with logistics of meetings to include invite lists, rooming reports, flight & transportation manifests, registration reports, activity registration, etc.
- Input content and send event communications as directed (save the date notifications, email invitations, confirmation communications & "Know Before You Go" documents, etc.)
- Provide onsite support for meetings and events to include registration management, transportation management, breakout session support, venue management, AV management and other duties as assigned by the planner.
- Effectively manage resources to deliver against competing event schedules
- Develop and own relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to ensure best-in-class work is consistently delivered.
- Use program data to drive ROI and measure the effectiveness of program initiatives, program processes, operational execution.
- Propose new ideas to improve departmental efficiencies and implement process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Four-year degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years prior experience in event management related activities.
- Customer-first mindset.
- Strong organization and project management skills with tolerance for ambiguity.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Highly collaborative and able to work with multiple teams simultaneously while maintaining consistency and quality across projects.
- Able to establish relationships within a matrix organization; work with various levels of organization, including leadership.
- Effective communication and presentation skills (with and to Executives, Marketing peers, and to external audiences).
- Excels at problem solving and approaching problems in multiple ways.
- Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Prior experience with event management registration system, Cvent
- Ability to travel (up to 25%). Flexibility in work schedule is required (to include evenings and weekends, as needed).
- May require standing for long periods, walking great distances and ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $61,760.00 to $92,640.00

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
