Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Development Product Owner with a strong background in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner and be proficient in using Jira and Jira Work Management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Engage with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business needs and requirements.
- Product Vision and Strategy:Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
- Backlog Management:Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Agile Methodologies:Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- User Story Development:Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure they are well-understood by the development team.
- Jira Management:Utilize Jira and Jira Work Management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure transparency in the development process.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality products.
- Risk Management:Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
- Performance Metrics:Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
- Customer Focus:Ensure the product meets customer needs and provides a positive user experience.
- Market Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the P&C insurance sector.
Qualifications:
- Experience:Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
- Industry Knowledge:Strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and market trends.
- Agile Expertise:Experience working in Scaled Agile (SAFe) development environments.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership:Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

- MS Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certifications.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
