Full Job Description

Our client is looking for a Director, Web Strategy and Customer Engagement who will lead digital strategy across web and associated channels. The Director, Web Strategy and Customer Engagement will work onsite about once per week in Washington DC, developing a strong web and digital strategy that will align brand goals and objectives.

Candidates must have a proven understanding of web and brand strategy and oversight, with an ability to develop and execute on a web strategy within WordPress, and understanding it's impact across the digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have automation and renewals experience.

Director, Web Strategy and Customer Engagement Responsibilities: 
- Develop web, digital, and brand strategy to leverage automation efforts and drive renewals across a membership audience. 
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop a strong content and editorial strategy that supports brand initiatives and overall marketing strategy. 
- Support critical brand marketing efforts, providing strategic insights and recommendations on plan and approach. 
- Apply understanding of web (WordPress) ecosystem and it's integration with marketing technologies (HubSpot and Salesforce) to drive marketing campaign goals and objectives. 
- Oversee digital enhancements and strategy across paid media, social, and web; Update WordPress pages as required. 
- Report on strategic initiatives, reporting on progress, performance and identifying strategic changes as needed.

Director, Web Strategy and Customer Engagement Requirements: 
- Minimum 6 years of web and digital strategy experience and proven background in brand strategy. 
- Experience with web strategy and automation tool integration; WordPress and HubSpot required; Salesforce and Drupal experience preferred. 
- Ability to deliver strategic plans and recommendations to support transformative digital strategies. 
-Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive strategic goals and objectives. 
- Experience with automation and renewals products/services; Membership experience ideal. 

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
