Customer Service Specialist New Prague, MN
General Summary:
Assist customers with service, billing and technical and troubleshooting questions. Perform other
duties relating to customer acquisition and support for regulated and non-regulated products and
services provided by the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service and Sales
a. Promote and sell products and services to customers using telephone, face to
face and written contacts.
b. Answer customer questions and resolve problems relating to all regulated and
non-regulated products and services and billing questions.
c. Maintain accurate and complete records in the customer billing system and/or
other systems as needed.
2. Technical and Troubleshooting
a. Troubleshoot and resolve customer troubles with Internet, video, and home
networking related products and services.
b. Research new trends and products relating to residential home networking,
Internet, video, and entertainment related products and services.
3. Training and Safety
a. Cross train with other members of the department and company.
b. Attend vendor specific and other company provided training as required.
c. Participate in scheduled safety training courses.
4. Miscellaneous
a. Assist as needed with other duties relating to this position such as, domain
names, web hosting, etc.
b. Assist with customer service duties at other office locations as needed.
c. Perform other duties as assigned by management
