Our agency client is looking for a Creative Director to join their team. The Creative Director will support the ideation, concept, and execution of marketing campaigns, with a heavy amount of work focused on event marketing. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
This role will be hybrid, onsite 2 days per week for the first 6 months, then 2 days per month longer term. They have offices in Washington DC and Northern Virginia
The Creative Director must have experience managing direct reports and will ideally have experience working in an agency setting and/or supporting association clients.
Creative Director Responsibilities:
- Manage team of designers and copywriters to concept and execute multichannel campaigns.
- Create strong branded campaigns that convey goals and objectives across various audiences.
- Lead team to develop engaging campaigns within time and scope, overseeing workloads through to execution and supporting overall final deliverables.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop concepts and consult with internal client leaders to advise on creative concepts and solutions.
- Leverage new and emerging tools to drive creative development and overall client satisfaction.
Creative Director Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of creative management and design experience; agency and/or association experience preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing multichannel campaign development; event marketing experience a plus.
- Strong background in print production and multimedia design.
- Skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator; experience using AI tools to leverage creation a plus.
