Rate Range: $35-$43 per hour

Position Overview
Our client, a well known university in Boston, is looking to hire a freelance Copywriter to support a few upcoming projects in their Annual Giving department.
The first project will be to update and possibly rewrite descriptions for their new website that is supposed to launch in January. The website hasn't been updated in many years so this will be a mix of copywriting and copy editing.
The other projects will be to craft compelling messaging to encourage students to donate which will range from social and digital to printed pieces. This second wave of projects will need more "pizazz" than the first, since it will be about encouraging and enticing Gen Z graduates to boost their donations. Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, persuasive, and original copy for websites, emails, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Copy edit and rewrite already existing copy, while also writing net-new copy for 2025 campaigns
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure high-quality output and adherence to brand voice.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital copywriting and content creation.
- Previous non profit, philanthropic, or educational support experience
