Full Job Description
Our higher education client is looking for a Communications Specialist to support internal communications team during a maternity leave. This role starts ASAP.
While the assignment is remote, there may be onsite meetings in the corporate office on the university campus.
The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the academic affairs office with a variety of needs inclusive of writing, communications dissemination, campus memos, PPT presentations, and event planning.
This assignment is slated to be a mat leave coverage for 3-4 months, but it could be extended. The client is anticipating approximately 15-20 hours per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience
+ Portfolio of writing samples
+ Versed in AP Style
+ Ability to work at a fast pace, efficiently and independently
+ Attention to detail
+ Strong communication and written skills
+ Corporate Communications experience
+ Experience with MS Word, Excel and PPT
