Job Description:
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Collaborate on planning and executing multi-channel strategic communications strategies for launches of new products, as well as for steady cadence of thought leadership for existing products
- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists and other influencers, including business, technology, and culture-focused press
- Support development of Head of Product communications, including contributed content and presentations
- Coordinate across the organization on strategic product communications and reactive messaging; provide message guidance and resources for cross-team use
- Develop customer storytelling strategies to shine a light on how small businesses are using our products to grow and help their teams succeed
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 6+ years of demonstrable success in a communications / public relations role, with a focus on product comms for B2B products.. Experience with product communications for small businesses is preferred, but not required
- You always have your finger on the pulse of trends today, and you’re constantly searching and thinking about shaping the trends of tomorrow
- You have a track record of building strong relationships with business, technology, broadcast, and culture reporters
- You’re resourceful, highly curious, and relentless in pursuit of bringing compelling stories to life.
- You have a special knack for concepting and telling stories in a clear, intriguing, and effective way across multiple mediums
- You have experience creating thought-leadership platforms across a wide range of key issues, including development of points of view
- You thrive on developing and executing multi-channel, multi-pronged campaigns to tell our product stories, using a wide variety of tactics including targeted media outreach, customer storytelling, executive thought leadership, etc.
