Summary of Role:
NFP Executive Benefits designs benefit plans that address the retirement savings gap confronting most of today's higher-earning executives. We offer extraordinary benefit administration that supports the simplest to the most complex plan designs. At NFP, we work with our clients directly to provide industry-leading service and technology solutions for their non-qualified deferred compensation plans.
Use your Life Insurance, COLI or BOLI experience in this role to handle the administration of corporate-owned life insurance programs.
This is a full-time position working from our Atlanta, GA office. We are flexible in offering a hybrid schedule after sufficient training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administration of corporate-owned life insurance programs.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of a wide range of client deliverables and reports, such as cash value reports and benefit statements.
- Ensuring that administrative actions necessary to support our benefit and insurance plans are implemented in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Knowledge and understanding of nonqualified benefit plans and an understanding of the basics of investments is a plus.
- Successful candidate will develop to become the front-line face of NFPEB to our corporate clients.
- COLI Policy Services: administration related to the support of the COLI Plans and your assigned clients. For example, but not limited to: death claims, cash value reporting, change of broker, surrender, owner and beneficiary changes, filings.
- Assistance with onboarding new COLI plans.
- Evaluation and storage of carrier rebalance confirmation statements.
- Rebalance cash value activities: system maintenance, monitoring and updates.
- Preparation and analysis of premium funding instructions, coordination with plan managers.
- Support broker dealer compliance activities
- Interaction with insurance company home office personnel
- Able to support other areas of the company as needed
Experience/Skills Required
- Able to work from our Atlanta, GA office
- Ideally 2-5 years of demonstrable knowledge and experience with life insurance products: Universal, Whole Life and/or Variable Life
- Bank Owned or Corporate Owned Life Insurance Industry experience is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. Critical thinking
- Exhibits a high degree of self-motivation and direction
- Ability to foster a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization
- Ability to accommodate travel when required-minimal travel
Education/Credentials
- Life and health license required upon hire
- Series 7 or 6 and 63 preferred or able to obtain such licenses within a year of hire
- Bachelor's degree or additional training/education preferred
- HS Diploma or equivalent is required
