Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Groveton, NH

Shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Reports to: Foreman

Job Overview: The CNC operators are responsible for monitoring and operating our CNC (computer numerically controlled) machine to cut metal used in the manufacturing of Rotobec products.

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor and operate CNC (computer numerically controlled) machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Load materials into the CNC machine.
Calculate material feed rates and adjust machine speed based on vibrations and sounds that indicate potential malfunctions.
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure precise manufacturing.
Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Perform setup and adjustments of each unit correctly.
Safely operate machinery, tools, and overhead cranes.
Meets or exceeds set production targets as directed by supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free workplace.
Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Participate in cross-training and assist in other production areas as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Production Manager.

Required Qualifications

Strong CNC operator skills.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge of lathe and milling machines.
Proven ability to perform high-quality machining work in compliance with required industry.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to communicate well with others and have good organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree in a related field or 1 to 2 years of comparable shop experience deemed valid by the employer.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
