Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Groveton, NH

Shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Reports to: Foreman

Job Overview: The CNC operators are responsible for monitoring and operating our CNC (computer numerically controlled) machine to cut metal used in the manufacturing of Rotobec products.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate CNC (computer numerically controlled) machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Load materials into the CNC machine.
  • Calculate material feed rates and adjust machine speed based on vibrations and sounds that indicate potential malfunctions.
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure precise manufacturing.
  • Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform setup and adjustments of each unit correctly.
  • Safely operate machinery, tools, and overhead cranes.
  • Meets or exceeds set production targets as directed by supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free workplace.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Participate in cross-training and assist in other production areas as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Production Manager.


Required Qualifications

  • Strong CNC operator skills.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge of lathe and milling machines.
  • Proven ability to perform high-quality machining work in compliance with required industry.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate well with others and have good organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical degree in a related field or 1 to 2 years of comparable shop experience deemed valid by the employer.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation

  • 36-hour workweek paid to 40 hours.
