Summary: The Client Admin Associate is responsible for assisting the Benefits and Life Team with all aspects of administrative support and client service
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures
- Will be first line of answering questions from clients and insurance company personnel
- Take a proactive lead on conserving the existing block of disability and life insurance by notifying clients of overdue insurance premiums
- Process policy service requests: address changes, beneficiary changes, premium mode changes, etc. Follow up with carriers to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure data accuracy in company records by routinely updating client and carrier information in our CMS and maintain electronic client files
- Complete policy summaries and annual reviews
- Perform administrative duties including scanning and accurately filing materials in the client files
- Answer phones
- Mail collection and distribution
- Learns to compile data for the Team to use in quotes and may also assist in preparing quotes
- Verifies that documentation (policies and endorsements) and information requested are accurate
- Learns to perform policy reviews and the process for completing coverage in the CMS
- Assist the team with special projects
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
- Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people
- Team player, adaptive to mentoring and continual learning
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details
- May be required to work overtime as necessary
Education and/or Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent, College graduate preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- Life and Health license will be required during the first year
