Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Ybor City, FL
Pay: $60-70/hr - W2 Only
Duration: 6-12 months
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3-5 days onsite per week)

Job Description:

The Network Engineer will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure supporting Power Plants, Solar Fields, and Control Centers. The engineer will focus on replacing routers, switches, and wireless access points across various client sites and ensure the smooth operation of network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points.
* Replace routers and switches at client sites, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Install and configure server and network-related hardware/software.
* Plan, operate, maintain, and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, LAN/WAN, and site-to-site VPNs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless installation and configuration of server and storage infrastructure.
* Provide networking information to the security team for projects utilizing SolarWinds.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including DDoS protection and NetScaler load balancers.
* Ensure compliance with NERC standards.

Qualifications:

* Strong experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points.
* Proven ability to work on LAN/WAN, VPNs, and network security infrastructure.
* Experience in network infrastructure planning, installation, and troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with SolarWinds, DDoS protection, and NetScaler load balancers.
* NERC background preferred.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
