The Costco Digital Services Division is inviting students currently enrolled in an IT undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university to participate in a 12-week paid internship program during the Summer of 2025. Interns will work within specific areas in Costco’s Information Systems Division. Interns will attend presentations given by various members of Executive Management from IT and other areas of the Company. Interns will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. Housing is not provided. The program runs mid-June to early September and is located in Issaquah, WA. No out of state work allowed.
The Digital Analytics team develops analytics tagging strategy, builds A/B tests of new digital features, and creates custom algorithms for product recommendations and personalization for Costco’s digital systems with a mobile first mindset. The Digital analytics team supports Adobe Experience Cloud tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Tag Manager. Individuals in this role will work closely with product owners, analysts, developer leads, and business partners to understand requirements and collaborate on designing and implementing personalization activities to support our business.
NOTE: While participating in the IT Internship program, an individual will be classified as an hourly temporary employee for the duration of the program. During the program, the individual may be asked to undergo the normal interview process for a level 1 position. If the individual is offered a position, they will be converted to the employment status matching open job they were selected for. If they are not selected for a regular position, the internship position will be complete in a maximum of twelve weeks

REQUIRED
● Experience with or exposure to Web Markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
● Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery and React.
● Experience in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS.
● Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Possess good organizational, time, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, and stay well organized.
● Must be maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
● Must be students currently enrolled in an IT undergraduate or graduate program at a community college, college or university.
Recommended
● Understanding of Web Analytics standards and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
● Familiarity with Google or Adobe Analytics.
● Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $31.90
