Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

This role interacts with Medical Staff, Physicians and nursing staff in the Patient Placement Center and Transfer Center, facilitating and directing communication throughout the Capacity Management Center. The position processes bed requests coming into the Patient Placement Center and assists with the placement of admissions and transfers in accordance with established guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Processes physician coverage for new admissions.
  • Enters new patient reservations.
  • Manages, directs and/or monitors department phone calls for system HSOs.
  • Facilitates positive work environment and relationships through verbal and non-verbal, written, and electronic communication with peers, physicians, nurses, and team members.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience

  • 2-5 years
  • Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
