Direct Response Representative Manager – North America
Location: Raleigh, NC (On-Site)
Job Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead and manage a team of Direct Response Representatives (DRRs) focused on inbound lead qualification and pipeline generation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of DRRs, fostering their growth, and driving a consistent, scalable pipeline for revenue growth in a dynamic Cloud/SaaS environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching, motivating, and developing early-career sales professionals while collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing leadership. This position is highly focused on building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and success within the team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Development: Mentor, coach, and inspire the BDR team to achieve and exceed individual and team KPIs. Guide their professional development and career progression within Genesys.
Process Optimization: Ensure adherence to current inbound sales processes, providing clear direction to the team while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement. Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes and ROI.
Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams and external agencies to align strategies, refine lead qualification criteria, and optimize handoff processes to sales.
Performance Management: Monitor team performance, analyze metrics, and implement strategies to ensure pipeline goals are met.
Enablement: Equip the team with industry-leading prospecting tools, resources, and training to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
Culture Building: Foster a positive, growth-oriented culture that promotes resilience, teamwork, and accountability.
Strategic Input: Provide feedback and insights to leadership regarding campaign effectiveness, team performance, and market trends.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Business Development Managers to share best practices, contribute to team-wide initiatives, and standardize processes.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven success managing or coaching early-career sales professionals in a sales-driven environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience required.
Industry Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in inbound or inside sales, preferably in Cloud/SaaS or technology solutions.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret performance metrics to drive improvements.
Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to align objectives and strategies.
Tool Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms, Salesloft or Outreach, and 6Sense would be ideal.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to guide the team and present ideas effectively to leadership.
Coaching Skills: Passion for mentoring and empowering others, with a focus on creating a supportive and high-performing environment.
Problem-Solving: Adept at managing challenges with flexibility, creativity, and a forward-thinking approach.
Growth-Oriented: Committed to staying current with industry trends, competition, and technology to foster continuous learning and improvement

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$61,700.00 - $114,500.00Benefits:
