We are looking to fill a BCG U Operations Manager to support our commercial team with sales analytics and our delivery team with onboarding, staffing and vendor management. 

As the Operations Manager, you will take the lead in managing our CRM and staffing management tool, ensuring they operate efficiently to support our high-impact projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with senior BCG U experts and the client service teams they support, providing critical operational support. You will also collaborate closely with other members of our BCG U operations and finance teams, contributing to the seamless execution of our strategic objectives and maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Managing/administering the CRM database and automating the pipeline management system to drive actionable insights with reports and dashboards to ensure effective sales strategy alignment with commercial teams. 

  • Collaborating with commercial teams to maintain real-time, accurate pipeline data, optimizing data-driven decision-making and business growth initiatives. 

  • Administering the staffing management tool, leveraging automated dashboards and capacity reports to ensure optimal resource allocation and forecasting. 

  • Generating and analyzing weekly reports on staffing and billing, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. 

  • Proactively monitoring timesheet submissions and inquiries, ensuring accurate billing and compliance while minimizing administrative delays. 

  • Maintaining the vendor database and legal compliance. Streamlining vendor management processes. 

  • Leading the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration that accelerates productivity and alignment with business objectives. 

  • Contributing to internal strategic projects within BCG U, leveraging data and analysis to support initiatives that enhance organizational performance. 

  • Supporting internal meetings and presentations logistics and gathering or producing necessary materials. 

  • Actively contributing to a positive team culture by supporting activities that promote engagement, collaboration, and the reinforcement of company values. 

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Proven project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and convey technical and non-technical concepts clearly. 

  • Ability to build trust, guide teams, and maintain effective relationships across all organizational levels. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with collaboration tools like Slack, Trello, and Zoom. 

  • CRM database management. 

  • Highly organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in both planning and execution. 

  • Proactive and innovative problem-solver with experience in developing creative solutions to complex challenges. 

  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities across multiple time zones. 

  • Commitment to high professional standards, ethics, and a positive workplace culture, with a passion for people development and maintaining confidentiality. 

  • Strong service orientation and a positive attitude in responding to internal and external customer needs. 

  • Client-service mentality – responsive; reliable; able to quickly establish credibility and trust. 

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 6-8+ years of work experience in professional/business services. 

  • Experience working within a complex matrix structured organization. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing shifting priorities across multiple time zones. 

YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will join the global BCG U team as part of our Operational Excellence support function. Day-to-day you will collaborate with other members of that functional team and BCG U experts.

KCS team is a cross-functional team equipping BCGers with internal and external knowledge resources and digital collaboration tools, enabling them to work smarter and with increased productivity
