Associate Vice President for University Events and Partnerships
Bryant Group continues our partnership with University of San Diego to recruit an Associate Vice President for University Events and Partnerships to join their team of over 70 advancement professionals.
As a member of the VP's Advancement Leadership Team, the AVP will increase the breadth and effectiveness of corporate and select benefactor support of university programs, while also providing a platform to support the overall advancement efforts of the university. This experienced, forward-thinking and strategic advancement professional will lead a team in developing and sustaining the University of San Diego's strategic, multi-level corporate partnerships to advance institutional advancement goals, engagement strategies and partnership initiatives. This role will also be charged with leading and advising on matters related to highly visible, overarching campus events that advance USD's objectives, particularly those that raise campus visibility. The AVP will oversee a team of advancement professionals to ensure strategic outreach and communication of institutional priorities, signature events and partnership agreements.
The successful candidate will be a professional who has a bachelors and a minimum of seven years' executive-level experience in corporate fundraising, event management, community relations, institutional advancement or related fields. Strategic partnership development, demonstrated success at building consensus and moving decisions forward, staff management and the ability to thrive in a complex, highly collaborative and ambiguous environment are all highly preferred skills. The ability and willingness to travel and work on weekends and evenings are required.

Per the University of San Diego, the salary range of $175,000 - $200,000 reflects what they reasonably expect to pay for this position.
