Overview

Your skills as an angiography technologist will help to fulfill that goal. As you provide imaging procedures according to physician's orders, you will be extending professional, expert care to the patients we serve.
Angiography, Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology Technologists provide the highest quality care using the most advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in our Cardiovascular (Cath Lab) and Hybrid labs located at each Legacy site.
Responsibilities
Performs primary role, fluoroscopy and acquisition (cine), during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
Performs secondary and tertiary roles (scrub assistant, monitoring) during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory in accordance with physician orders.
Act as preceptor for Angiography Technologist I and II orientees.
Give a presentation or participate in a yearly education or quality improvement project in the Catheterization Laboratory.
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
Experience
Two years of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization required.
Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory.
