Job Purpose
As an Order Quality Control Analyst, you will be part of the UNY Operational Controls team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of Customer and Company generated service orders before they are dispatched to field technicians.
You will identify and ensure order error correction, track error sources, and facilitate process improvement efforts to prevent the recurrence of errors. You will work closely with Customer teams and other stakeholders to improve the order process and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyze data extracts and reports built from various applications (PowerBI / Excel)
- Identify and remedy order errors before they are dispatched to the field, using tools and methods like data checking, quality testing, and error fixing
- Work closely with Customer Metering Services and Dispatch to identify improvement opportunities
- Identify deficiencies and overall performance trends or patterns
- Track errors and give feedback to the order makers, using tools and methods like data analysis, reporting, and communication
- Provide routine performance updates at Performance Hubs to help Customer and CMS personnel increase focus on areas of order accuracy
- Collaborate with Customer teams and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Improve the order process to prevent errors, using tools and methods like root cause analysis, action planning, and implementation
- Provide recommendations and assist in implementation of corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency of operations performance
- Monitor the effectiveness of the order quality control process and report on key performance indicators
- Ability to take on additional projects to support business needs
- Ability to responds and react to emergency response events during normal business hours or off hours
Qualifications
- People-oriented person, who is comfortable working with and challenging a broad range of stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills with demonstrable experience of applying them in technical and business reporting writing and the development and delivery of presentations
- At least 2 years of relevant work order experience
- Proficient in CSS and Salesforce
- Customer-oriented and quality-focused mindset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and synthesize themes and trends
- Demonstrated ability to meet time/date driven mandates
- Takes personal responsibility for correcting problems promptly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Salary
$72,000 - $85,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
