Full Job Description
Full-service ad agency is seeking a full-time Account Director to join the team! This is a hybrid role that will be onsite 3 days/week total in Somerset County: Tuesdays and Thursdays at the main office, and Wednesdays at their client's office.
FOR ONSITE:
- Train station is across the street from central NJ office (Tues + Thurs)
- Wednesdays onsite at client in Basking Ridge - not commutable by public transportation
^both locations are in Somerset County
The Account Director will:
- Build strategic marketing and advertising plans and ensure production of campaigns
- Brief copywriters, designers, or other internal staff
- Manage budgets of $1-2M
- Direct account management and project management team
- Grow and manage client relationships
- Expand business with existing clients
The Account Director must have:
- 8 years of experience directly managing B2B client relationships, including 3 years within an ad or marketing agency (not just in-house)
- Experience with both traditional creative/advertising as well as digital channels, including blogs, web promos, SEM, videos, mobile apps, social media, etc.
- Experience in B2B/Fintech or working with clients in this space
Bonus: experience in employer branding is a plus, but not required
