As a Youth Program Specialist, you’ll play a key role in making our clubhouse a welcoming, exciting place where teens can explore their interests, build leadership skills, and connect with their community. From running engaging programs to planning special events and collaborating with partners, this role is all about bringing energy, creativity, and organization to the clubhouse.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create Fun & Impactful Programs – Help develop and evaluate engaging activities that are age-appropriate and meaningful.
- Supervise & Mentor Members – Ensure a safe and positive environment while guiding youth through activities.
- Support Teen Programming & Extended Hours – Help manage teen programs, keeping them exciting and relevant.
- Collaborate with Community Partners – Work with outside organizations to bring fresh, new programming to our club.
- Keep Things Organized – Assist with membership details, camp registration, and other important paperwork.
- Engage Families – Plan and host fun family events and parent council meetings throughout the school year.
- Lead & Inspire – Help train and support junior staff and volunteers, making sure everyone is set up for success.
- Track & Improve Our Impact – Participate in evaluation efforts to help us continually improve.
- Maintain a Safe & Clean Space – Keep program areas tidy and organized.
- Be a Team Player – Work closely with club leadership to bring our vision to life.
