Our Downstream Chemical Team uses technology consisting of chemistry, knowledge expertise, Intellectual Property, correct application methods and monitoring to improve the water and process treatment applications at refinery and industrial plants while providing value to our clients.

As an Account Representative, you will provide a vital service by implementing, monitoring, troubleshooting and evaluating chemical treatment programs. You will take ownership of a key customer account to ensure they have the services and products needed to operate safely and efficiently. You will become a trusted advisor to customers as you develop an understanding of our customer's needs and operations.
As a Refinery Account Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day operations of refinery process treatment programs to ensure delivery and performance for our customers
- Developing trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to promote collaboration
- Providing account management to understand customer needs, requirements and potential win-win sales opportunities
- Collecting and interpreting data for troubleshooting, service reports, meetings, KPI reviews and presentations delivered to customers
- Providing field support, laboratory analysis and technical guidance for our customers on issues, projects, turn-around, shut-downs and daily operations
- Managing chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location
- Assist with loading and unloading for chemical tank trailers
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree (Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred)
3 plus years experience with refinery or industrial experience
- Refinery or industrial operation experience with, process chemical additives, water treatment, finished fuels additives, refinery sales, process engineering, or engineering service experience
- Solid understanding and knowledge of refinery process operation and utilities units
- Understanding of industrial chemical treatment programs and sales process
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Have experience working in a laboratory setting
- Show comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
- Display excellent verbal and written communications skills
