The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects.These opportunities in our Global Support Functions Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The Global Safety & Environment Intern will provide support to the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) Operational Excellence (OpEx) team. The OpEx team is responsible for enabling the design and delivery of Standards, systems, and priorities that contribute to our strategic vision and allow the Company to achieve EHS compliance.

Projects may include:

  • Assisting with execution of the organization's process optimization strategy

  • Participating in program simplification efforts, including change management

  • Reviewing, evaluating, and updating internal governance documents

  • Supporting incident management program continuous improvement, including analyzing data, identifying insights and trends

  • Supporting the execution of the EHS Data Strategy

  • Expanding the development and design of the EHS knowledge management system website

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Communication, Marketing, or other related degree.

Required:

  • Should have completed at least 2 years of college course work.

  • Must be able to work full time for a period of 10-12 weeks beginning summer 2025.

  • Critical thinking, clear and effective communication, project management, problem solving and computer skills.

  • Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes.

  • Ability to work both independently and with variety of roles and team members for different assignments.

  • Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of EHS, lean principles, or Microsoft 365 Applications.

  • Ability to communicate ideas and explain decisions in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Travel is not required.
