Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Camarillo, CA.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for a Software Engineer 1 are a Bachelor's Degree. Basic qualifications for a Software Engineer 2 are a Master's Degree.
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science or closely related degree
• Experience with object-oriented software development, including C++
• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Camarillo, CA and Pt Mugu, CA
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• A final DoD Secret clearance is required to start
• The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• A current/active DoD Secret clearance
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills in a teamwork environment
• Experience working full software life-cycle experience on a large-scale, formal DoD program
• Experience with software development using ADA
• Experience working in an Agile environment with the flexibility to work in a legacy/Waterfall development environment
• Electronic Warfare system development and design experience
Salary Range Level 1: $74,000 - $111,00
Salary Range Level 2: $89,400 - $134,200

Salary Range: $74,000 - $111,000
Salary Range 2: $89,400 - $134,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
